M/v "Westin Breeze" - 12/17/2010
Ferry “Westin Breeze” holed and stranded on Moravian Reef, St John, USVI. Husky Salvage and Seatow St. Thomas conducted a joint salvage effort to save the ferry Westin Breeze. 10 x 3” pumps were used to de-water the vessel and keep her afloat once she was pulled from the reef as a strong current prevented the damage to the vessel being patched in situ. The vessel was salvaged without any spillage of diesel fuel, and towed to Nanny Cay for haul out.
